Summer Dream is finished!

Here is my finished piece! I have attached all the elements by inserting the wires through to the back. Most of them are then twisted and then stitched to the back to keep them stable.
I hope you have enjoyed watching this piece develop. I encourage you to try stumpwork and highly endorse Luan Callery's instructions. She has made this piece a joy to stitch!

Impressive Pat! Just lovely. Will you keep this piece for yourself? I really enjoyed watching your progress and it seemed,at least to me, that it went quickly. Stumpwork will be my next needling challenge. Thanks for the inspiration.

It's beautiful, Pat! I should be starting mine any day now. The design is on the fabric and the fabric is mounted. I'm just gathering the last few threads, and I'll be on my way. Thanks for sharing your inspiring progress!

Congratulations on your finish. It looks absolutely wonderful.

I also have that piece on my to do list. You have certainly inspired me into stitching it myself :-)

Don't you find it difficult to choose a stitching projects among all the wonderful projects that we all have in our stash?

What is next on your agenda now?

Lovely! Gosh, stumpwork never seemed so easy as when I was watching you work.

This is really a lively and lovely piece, isn't it? We can't wait to see how you frame and finish it.
