Mystery #2 is done!

Here is the overall finished piece. Tonight I completed lesson five. First, the border is laid in with the 1/16th ribbon. Next, the Overdyed Perle is stitched created the large diamond pattern.
Last, using the Perlee, the small diamond is filled in, and one stitch is placed over the corners. I gave you a close-up of the border as well.

This design also has a name--Winter Reflections. I think that is looks like winter with all the blues and whites!

Exquisite - another heirloom for sure. It does look like ice- the rainbows when the sun is on it.

Boy, this is NICE.

The border relates to the laid ribbon tied with pavillions stitches inside the piece, and it's simple but very effective. This one's a keeper.

When are you going to get them all stitched (all the Spears mystery pieces, I mean) and take them on the road so we can see them all in person?

Loretta Spears was a really great designer and this one is also a credit to her.

Do you have any ideas what you will be doing with it, finishing wise?

What will you be working on next?

Pierrette =^..^=

Thanks, ladies! Jane, please don't hold your breath for a tour of all the finished pieces! I think I have quite a few more to go! Pierette, this is going to be set aside until I complete the next three mysteries and they will be framed together.....as to why....it is a mystery!

I'm looking forward to seeing you stitch the next mystery. By chance is it a Spring pattern?

Okay, what can I do with them she asks laughing in Windy Meadow?! Do you think I can use them with the family for more stitching time?
