Got a lot more done today!  For some reason the W took a lot longer than the "ine"!

Half of the background

I am calling it half of the background as finished.  

 

Bubbles

I did the bubbles with Kreinik #8 031L in Rhodes stitches.....Thanks Carole for that idea and a side note is that this thread color is no longer available!  I had a couple of spools and it matched the canvas  and the shine is a great wine color.  I  have also started the background using a single strand of the same thread in Diagonal Weave.

Next up!  this is a 4" round on 18 count!  I am putting this on the

bars today and getting busy!
