More on Peep Peep!

The mail brought my threads so I am back to working on this one. Got the letters done and more of the background, compensating around the words.

The first one

I finished the white basketweave on the first Easter. Finish 5 for this year.

Easter II

This one is finished! The background on this one is color 33. The thread came for the background on the first one which is color 02. So tomorrow I can work on that one. I don't normally do two of the same canvas but you will see why when I do the finishing. 4th finish this year.

I finished all of the white and the blue and pink is done down through row 5.

I filled in more of the white down to the last two sections and did more letters in pink and blue. This one is going to get finished soon.

Here and there

I worked more of the white background down through the third row and then filled in some of the pink and blue letters too.

And a second one

I am doing two of this one, so, while I wait for threads, I started this one. I am using a different white for the background this time so I can stitch on this for a while.

Peep, Peep

Peep, Peep is by Kathy Schenkel and is about half done. Starteritis is the result of waiting for threads to come in the mail to finish the already started projects on the worktable.

The bow

I stitched step one of the bow at the top of the jar.

The middle

The cat is stitched in Fuzzy stuff and the puke is stitched and added the chunks with beads. Also finished stitching the three extra rows on both sides of the white for finishing.

Beading

Cat puke is beaded, the bottom black and white band is done and I started the Fuzzy stuff on the tail.

The white

I finished the white center background.

Another start

While I wait for threads, I put the Cat Puke poison bottle by Kirk & Bradley on the bars. I have stitched the top black and white band and started the background.

So far

I finished all the letters and all the eggs. I will set this aside now until the thread comes in to finish the background.

Just letters

Today I worked on letters only and got quite a few of them done.

Top two rows plus

I comoleted the letters and eggs in the top two rows and did more of the white down the right side. Basketweave is very slow!

Saturday stitching

Once again yesterday got away from me.....I did frame this one up and started stitching the white background. Easter is by Beth Gantz.

Done!

The third finish for this year! All the bunnies are stitched in Petite Very Velvet with a couple of furry fibers for the ears and white spots.

About half

I finished about half of the bunnies!

All the Hops

All the Hops are done and I have started the bunnies.

Moving on

I finished all of the skip tent background and have started stitching the word Hop in Silk Lame Braid.

Hop is design 589 by Beth Gantz. I have started the background using Silk Lame Braid Petite in skip tent.

I forgot to post yesterday! I finished the Magnolia piece and it is now in the finishing pile.

The painted part

I finished the darning pattern part of the design. Next I am going to do a border.

A couple of inches

This is moving quickly so a couple of inches done today.

Next up

This is Magnolia Blossom by Leigh Design. I am doing a darning pattern in Silk Lame Braid petite on this one.

The final petal on flower six is finished!

The final overall photo. This piece took 133.25 hours to stitch. All basketweave in six strands of DMC floss.

Completed the last poppy center!

Done with black

I finished up all the black and green across the bottom and then finished the top left petal.

Lots done on this one! The back petal, some of the left petal and a start on the center one.

I finished the purple poppy....five down, one to go!

Last Year

I went through the blog today. Last year I stitched four 4 inch round Chart for Charity pieces, finished and gifted, a Ghost stand up, a spider ornament, a cornstalk, bat, and cat in the moon ornament, Halloween house, Spooky standup, Polka Dot framed black pumpkin, Wild Night for Halloween, Believe and Bunny ornament, 2 M & M's packages, Heart of my Heart design, Mixed drinks sign, Underestimate me sign, a pink design for a box, Celebrate stitches design, and 13 4 inch round ornaments for my Home sign. A total of 36 pieces stitched and most of them finished, some gifted. It pays to stitch everyday!
